Abel Tasman Coastal Trail
A spectacular sun rise above an island in the Pacific Ocean.
The entrance to the Tasman Coastal Track.
Some of the details of the Morai story that depicts the creation of the area.
Being this earl in the morning, there were plenty of wildlife to see.A Maori statue with the details of the story on a nearby information board.
A view across just one of many sandy bays along the route.
And another bay, this one is both stones, sand and rocks so hard on the feet in places.A view of the track as it curves around the cliffs.
It was never an easy walk as it is a coastal walk and the trail dips down to every sandy bay and to cross rivers before going up the cliffs overlooking the sea.
