Istanbul

 Istanbul

I got a taxi from the airport for the 48 kilometre journey to my hotel.

I went to a roof top restaurant for my evening meal overlooking the Sea of Marmaris. The building was tall enough and set on high ground to look out above the trees and city walls to watch the shipping go past.


The meal was bread, a pot of black olives, a small plate of hummus, a large plate of swordfish and salad plus of course a local beer.

By the time I was served, it was too dark for any photos of the shipping.
