Guerrilla Post Box crocheting

Guerrilla post box crocheting

A guerrilla crocheter has been decorating local post boxes by giving them a hat called a topper..
Slinfold village centre.
Blackbridge Lane. The piece of paper hanging from the brim of the topper is a poem and an appeal for Horsham Matters, a local charity which aims to relieve hardship through the provision of essential services such as food, fuel and shelter and specifically a Christmas meal for the homeless..

A poppy hat on a pillar box opposite the town hall, themed for Remembrance Day.
Depot Road.
Hyde Drive, Crawley.
Hills Farm Road...

...a close up of the dog on top.
The same Blackbridge Road pillar box but themed for Christmas with a robin to the left of the Christmas pudding in the centre.
Two CHristmas pixies with some mushrooms in Chart Way, outside the Black Jug.

Chesworth Close.
The same pillar box in Depot Road but themed for Christmas.
And the same pillar box as above but themed for Christmas with a group of carol singers.

Another Christmas themed topper with the three kings and other individuals on a square topped Georgian post box in Rushams Road.
A festive scene on a pillar box on Pondtail Road with stockings readu for Santa Claus to fill.
Someone didn't want to be left out of the fun and had left a plastic duck on top of a pillar box in Pontail Road.
A Christmas themed topper also on Pondtail Road

A topper on another post box in Rushams Road, What I have not yet discovered is whether these are produced by the same person or whether there is a competitive environment.
The Christmas tree surrounded by people holding hands on Clarence Road.

A topper on Traflagar Road that appeared just before Valentines Day.
and another tpper with green hearts for Valentines day on the corner of Curzon Avenue.
