On El Camino approaching Leon.

Sahagun railway station and somewhere along the path that day was the halfway mark, so only another 400 km o go!

The tracks disappearing into the distance.
The front of the railway station.
A water tower, actually in El Burgo Ranero, the next town.
One of many crosses along the route, this one n the outskirts of El Burgo Ranero.
The special light of a sunrise.
 Another cross.
The walls of the medieval town of Mancilla de las Mulas
The walls are hard to see in places as the people in the town have built their houses right against the inside face of the walls.
Looking down from one of the towers back at the walls.
The cross in the central plaza.
 The last remaining gate.
The walls facing the river taken from the bridge.

Down an alley way to the sally port.
A view of the walls from the edge of the river.

A view of the cathedral in Leon.
 Leon city walls.
