Saudi Arabia

 Saudi Arabia

Crossed the border from Kuwait and more endless sand to a bushcamp, and out of internet so a few photos and not much text so that I can catch up.

But towards Buraydah, there was more vegetation.
City dwellers have a tent in the desert and often spend the winter under canvas in the desert.

Saudi Railways have built some travk and a modern station, connects the north via Buraydah to Riyadh and then turns est to Damman on the Gulf Coast.

The Al Oqiyat Museum and some of the exhibits...

The Saudi flag.
The Buraydak City Museum, celebration of the Saud family who founded Saudi Arabia...
...and their car.
Some exhibits.

The Cultural Centre.

Buraydah Food City and the largest date market in the world, although the festival and buying/selling activity is in August but there were still some sellers...
...in the otherwise vast complex.

And then on to the Bondl Hotel in Buradah.
