Christmas Day in Saudi Arabian livestock market
A morning in a livestock market in Buraydah, largely camels, a close up of a camel's head to remind you that they are funny looking animals...
Loads of camels milling about...A special offer, buy two, get one free
some very intresting colours
me and a camel, by the way, the camel is on the right just in case you weren't sure
...at last both of us looking at the camera
other animals such as sheep with big horns...
...big ears...
...more ears...
merinoes...
a cute kid...and there was a warning sign that I couldn't read. Thet are in pens but the black goat on the left is a jumper and was securely tied by the green rope (from running away)....but still jumped out of the pen and thought it fun to pull you over as it circled you and used the rope to trip you up.
the secret as to how they get the camels onto the back of a lorry
One of the few camels in the market that could be ridden
...and a shot of some counytryside just to prove that it is not all desert and that there is some grass and some crops irrigated by a centrail pivot point.
