Grand Teton National Park, Saturday 15th August
We packed away our wet tents and set off for Grand Teton NP and in no time at all the weather cleared and it was a nice day for a hike.
Aptly named Moose Ponds complete with resident moose.
Whilst hiking up to the Inspiration Point, Paola got really close to a cow and calf...far too close according to the recommended 25m distance to stay away from moose but they came to us so it was their choice so the 25m didn't apply.
A better picture of Paola after her close encounter with the moose on her way across the lake to get back to the bus.
David had some lunch guests whilst he ate his lunch at Inspiration Point.
That evening we camped near a lake and set up the tents to dry out after yesterday evenings non stop rain and some of the group headed into nearby Jackson for a meal and a rodeo. I spent some time down by the lake shore and watched the sun set.
