 Battambang Circus

We took a private bus to reach Battambang, 293 kilometres from Phnom Penh.

That evening we went to the circus, known as Phare Ponleu Serlpak, Khmer for Brightness of the Arts. It is a charity that operates a school and trains children in performance arts. Some go on to perform in the local circus which tours the world.
