Amman
Yesterday, I took a tour to Gerash, Ajloun Castle and Umm Quaish but my camera refused to work so no pictures
Today, I went for a long city walk but with few highlights. The ancient city gates that I had planned to see and walked to had been replaced by a complicated flyover and underpass sytem connecting several major roads.
The national stadium had so much security in depth that I could only see the floodlight towers from a distance.
The Martyrs Museum, a war museum was interesting, recalling all the events of sacrifice since the Arab Rebellion, but the memorial was not where it was supposed to be as per Google Maps... and neither was the memorial park.
The mall where I had been directed to for cheap cameras was derelict. It might have offered a lot of great retailing opportunitids when it was closing but I had missed the last bargain. I wlked on through a lot of other mall retiling opportunities.
And I still hadn't found a camera replacement that was suitable and competively priced.
