Agadir

South of Agadir are wonderful sandy beaches, just right for surfing or being totally alone as the beaches are huge and very few people seem to come here.
We cut inland from the coast road to visit Paradise Valley. It is a great place to visit but unfortunately the truck couldn't get up the narrow step sections of road in the bottom of the valley and if we had, there was a risk that we may have been marooned there if there had been a heavy downpour, so it was best to back track nd we found a place to bush camp behind one of the many souvenir shops on the road to the valley.
Another view of the valley that eventually reaches Paradie Valley. In December there is not much rain so it is rather a dried u valley bt in the wet season, the waterfall is quite majestic.
A general view of the terrain shoe=wing how red it can be.
We needed a bush camp and after a town, there was a turn off and we came to a cactus farm.
A close up of the cactus farm with furrows planted with prickly peras that were struggling to survive in the harsh environment.
This is a photo of the the truck in the evening in the cactus farm and the colours are for real...it really did look this yellow and I promise that I have nt altered the colours.
The emblem og=f the toe of Guilemime, a pair of camels.
Further down the coast was a flooded wadi where it had ended the bed rock down to sea level. Iy was a nice sheltered place for shrimp to breed and for flamingos to feed on those shrimps.
